As Marketing Manager, Clean Energy at DG+, Barbara works with clients to effectively and creatively communicate their services in a way that helps them stand out in an increasingly competitive market. She spent the first 15 years of her career in marketing in the ski tourism and outdoor industries, including five years growing the climate change advocacy non-profit Protect Our Winters. During this time, she worked closely with key partners like Patagonia, The North Face, New Belgium Brewing, and Ben & Jerry's (among others) to engage and educate their consumers in climate-related initiatives. She holds a bachelor's degree in Advertising from Michigan State University. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, snowboarding and exploring in the mountains; traveling the world expanding her perspective, learning about different cultures and perfecting her Spanish (when applicable); and volunteering her time to causes she cares about.
